Quality Assurance Scheme
TMSS Medical College (TMC) has been implementing the National Guidelines and Tools for Quality Assurance Scheme (QAS) from 2014 and has eventually formed the Medical Education Unit (MEU) of TMC accordingly.
Academic Calendars have been made successfully and academic activities have been maintained according to the Academic Calendar.
Meetings of the Subject Coordination Committee, Phase Coordination Committee, Academic Coordination Committee, Academic Council and Faculty Development & Review Committee have been arranged regularly according to the guidelines of QAS.
Central Seminar (fortnightly) and Conference are arranged regularly by local and international faculty.
Phase wise evaluation by students is carried out and necessary steps have been taken according to the evaluation to enhance the teaching-learning experience as well as the entire environment of TMC.
External Examiner’s report has been collected according to the prescribed format and steps are taken according to their valuable opinions.
Evaluation and suggestions of the faculty members has been collected through the prescribed Personal Review form and steps are taken accordingly for continuous faculty development.
Workshops and training on Teaching Methodology and Research Methodology have been arranged regularly as a part of faculty development scheme.
Orientation program of teachers about Quality Assurance Scheme has been arranged on regular basis.
Meeting of Pair Medical Colleges has been arranged with the participation of Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College (SZMC), TMSS Medical College (TMC) and Army Medical College (AMC).
Counseling committee has been formed and the committee regularly counsels the irregular and low performance students.
Examination Review Committee has been formed.
